Beauty doesn’t come with an expiration date—and confidence only gets better with time. 💕
If you’re over 50, you know that your beauty routine isn’t about chasing trends anymore. It’s about enhancing what you already have, caring for your skin, and choosing products that actually work for you.
These are simply a few of my own favourite products that work well for me. Everyone’s skin is different, but if any of these catch your eye, feel free to check them out, I've included links to make it easy.
My Everyday Must-Haves Shopping List:
FACIAL CLEANSER
CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser with ceramides and hyaluronic acid, leaves my skin feeling really clean without stripping away the moisture.
EXFOLIATING TONER
Gentle exfoliating toner - The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% - My favourite (and very reasonable) must have for improving texture and brightness to the skin, without causing irritation. Since going through menopause I have noticed that my skin can look really dull and this just seems to give me a bit of my old glow back.
HYALURONIC ACID
The Ordinary Multi peptide + HA Serum is a hyaluronic acid serum. My daughter introduced me to this great brand and I absolutely love it, it really suits my sensitive skin, and in my opinion, is very reasonably priced.
MOISTURIZING OIL FREE GEL
Clinique 3-Step Dramatically Different Moisturizing Oil Free Gel. - I do really love this product as it absorbs very quickly into my skin and doesn't give that heavy feeling.
EYE CREAM
RoC Derm Correxion Eye Repair Dark Circle Cream - Helps me to look a little bit more awake and I have found it reduces my dark circles.
NECK FIRMING SERUM
BOOST LAB Edelweiss Neck Firming Serum - Thought I'd give this a try after seeing so many great reviews, and I have to say I'm pleased with the results so far, I have definitely noticed a change in the texture of my skin.
OVERNIGHT CREAM
BEAUTYLAB Overnight Repair Beauty Cream - Enriched with peptides and amino acids, this overnight cream supports collagen production and leaves my skin feeling deeply moisturised. Yes a little pricey, but I do feel it's worth it for a bit of luxury.
DAILY SPF CREAM
Cetaphil Daily Defence SPF for Sensitive Skin, As I've got older, my skin has become so much thinner, drier and more sensitive, it's not just the sun that affects it, but the wind can leave my face feeling really dry and tight, so this is my absolute must have item. There are lots of SPF's on the market, but this is just one of my budget friendly ones, that works for me.
